New Delhi: The international community has started an exercise to send medical equipment and materials to India, which is facing increasing cases of coronavirus. While equipment has been sent to the UK, France has also extended a hand to address the shortage of oxygen. The Biden administration has also said that it is working 24 hours a day to provide help to India.

Britain has sent India the first consignment of life support, which arrived in New Delhi on Tuesday. This includes objects such as ventilators and oxygen concentrates (Oxygen Concentrator). London has also said that more consignments to be sent this week are being collected now. France said it will supply "adequate medical assistance" to India to help the country deal with a major wave of the corona epidemic. Shipments to India will include oxygen generators, respirators, and cryogenic containers, which will start later next week.

French Ambassador to India Emmanuel Lenin tweeted that "In the next few days, France will not only provide immediate relief to India but also help with long-term capacity. France will send 8 high-capacity oxygen generators to India, oxygen for every 250 beds throughout the year, 2 for 5 days, liquid oxygen to 000 patients, 28 ventilators, and equipment for ICU".
