The Omicron variant of corona infection is spreading rapidly around the world. Even after the fast vaccination campaign in the UK, the problem with this variant has increased. The country is currently fighting the delta variant. But because of this, the cases of omicrons are also increasing rapidly here. UK health officials said omicron is spreading much faster than delta variants and is expected to change and become the major variant slated to spread to the UK in a few days.

On the same Friday, the UK registered 58,194 cases, the highest number since January, although the portion in which the Omicron variant is spread is not yet clear. Modeling released on Saturday by experts at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHATM) suggested that omicrons are likely to cause a major wave of infection by January and that if no other measures are taken in the next five months, 25,000 to 75,000 people could die in England.

The new scientific analysis warns that if individuals are not banned from collecting socially, the country may face a 'big wave' of 'generated' infections from the new variant of corona infection from January next year. An analysis by LSHTM points out that the rate at which infection is currently on the rise in England will eventually result in a sharp increase in the number of people admitted to hospitals.
