London: There are reports on poor financial condition of Airline Air India. The situation of developed countries is also similar. Pilots of British airline British Airways went on strike on Monday and Tuesday. This is considered to be the biggest strike in the airline's 100-year history. The company has cancelled over 1,500 flights due to the strike. The pilots are on strike over the pay dispute. According to a local newspaper, about two lakh 80 thousand people will be affected by the pilots' strike and there will be a loss of 704 crore rupees or about 80 million pounds.

All flights to New York, Delhi, Hong Kong and Johannesburg have been affected by the strike. In this context, the company has asked passengers not to go to the airport if your flight is cancelled. After the strike and the cancellation of flights, Russia's Foreign Ministry has alerted citizens. The strike was announced by the British Airline Pilots Association (BALPA) on 23 August itself.

The pilots decided to strike after disputes over pay and allowances were cut. The BALPA had then stated that on September 9 and 10, the pilots would be on strike.
