After the Supreme Court's order, Pakistan's parliament voted on a no-confidence motion against PM Imran Khan. 174 votes were cast against Imran. With this vote, Imran Khan's government in Pakistan has fallen. After this development in Pakistan, British financier and environmentalist Ben Goldsmith have come out in his support. 

He tweeted that Imran Khan is a good person, he has done a fantastic job on the issue of the environment. Ben Goldsmith tweeted, "My brother-in-law is a good and respected man who just aspires to do good work for his country. His record as PM is extraordinary," he said, adding that Imran Khan's record was exceptional, especially with regard to environmental issues.

After Ben Goldsmith, who came in support of Imran Khan, questions are being raised as to why he finally said this. Goldsmith Jemima is Goldsmith's brother, who was married to Imran Khan in 1995. However, Jemima and Imran Khan separated in 2004. Imran Khan's former begum Jemima Goldsmith has not yet made any official statement on the matter. Ben Goldsmith is the founder and CEO of London-based investment firm Menhaden.
