On Thursday, British singer Vera Lynn died at the age of 103. His songs like 'We Will Meet Again' and 'The White Cliffs of Dover' were well-liked during World War II. The death of singer Vera Lynn has been reported by her family. She lived in Ditchling, East Sussex. In the last time, only her family was present.

Veteran singer Elton John shared a picture of Lynn and paid tribute to her on the social media handle. The 73-year-old singer called Lynn a "real British icon" on Instagram. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson tweeted expressing grief over the death of Vera Lynn. He wrote, "Vera Lynn's charming magical voice has uplifted the dark times in our country. Her voice will always be alive in the hearts of generations to come."

The singer Lynn was born on 20 March 1917 in East Ham, blue-collar London. He started singing in social clubs from the age of seven. At the age of 17, she became a singer in a band and in 21 years she was a famous actress.
