Jerusalem: Israel has again announced a lockdown across the country amid rising cases of COVID. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced a 3-week lockdown on Sunday. Israel has become the first country in the world to impose lockdown again.  

Under the new lockdown beginning on Friday, people are said to be within a radius of 500 metres from their home. However, they have been allowed to go for work. More than 1200 cases were reported in the country on Sunday, after which the figure of total infections has gone up to 1, 56823. The death toll has reached 1126 after the death of 7 persons during this period.

PM Modi praises the US: US President Donald Trump has claimed that PM Modi has praised him for his excellent work regarding the Covid-19 tests in the country. The highest COVID tests worldwide are being carried out in the UNITED States, "Trump said. We are doing the most tests as compared to India and other countries. India is second in the case of COVID Test. Prime Minister Modi called me and said that you have done a great job regarding the COVID19 tests across the country".
