An unprecedented uproar occurred when Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar was answering the opposition's questions in the Rajya Sabha on two bills related to agriculture. Earlier, Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar introduced three bills related to agriculture - Farmers Produce Trade and Commerce Bill, 2020 and Farmers Price Assurance and Agreements Bill, 2020 in the Rajya Sabha. The Agriculture Minister, while presenting the Bills, said, "Two bills are historic and will bring changes in the lives of farmers." With this, there was a lot of uproar in the Rajya Sabha.
