Ghaziabad:  The brother of a young man who had a love marriage in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh was shot in the Vijaynagar area. The condition of the young man is said to be critical after being shot in the chest. He was admitted to a local hospital for treatment, from where he was referred to GTB Hospital in Delhi.

The family members of the victim allege that the brother of the girl who got married in love, along with her partner, carried out the incident. Anas, a resident of Kaila Bhatta of Nagar Kotwali area, was having a love affair with Jeba, a girl from Moti Masjid Kaila Bhatta. 15 days ago, both of them ran away from the house together, after which Jabba's family members had filed a case in the Nagar Kotwali.

At the same time, the girl Jeba and Anas ran away and got married. There was enmity between both the sides regarding this matter. Victim's family says that the girl's brother Salman was upset with this marriage. He had also threatened Anas and his family of dire consequences. After which the case of shooting Anas's brother has come to the fore. At present the police is investigating the matter.
