A student died on the spot in a tragic accident in the Bhanwarkuan area. He was sitting in the city bus with his brother when the bus driver pushed the bus forward due to which the youth came between the wheels of the bus. According to Bhanwarkuan police station in-charge Santosh Dudhi, the deceased has been identified as Abhishek Patel, a resident of Damoh.

He lived in Indore with his elder brother and was studying in college. On Monday, Abhishek and his elder brother Deepak had left for college by a city bus on Khandwa Road. When the bus arrived, Deepak sat in the bus when Abhishek started sitting, at the same time the driver of the city bus pushed the bus forward so that Abhishek could not board the bus and came under the rear tyre of the bus.

Abhishek was seriously injured in the accident. He succumbed to his injuries during treatment at a private hospital. The police have registered a case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder against the city bus driver. According to the information received, according to Deepak Patel, brother of the deceased, Abhishek's father Rajkumar Patel, resident of Balai (Damoh), is a recent address Khatiwala tank. In his report filed by Deepak, he has told the police that on Monday, he along with his brother Abhishek were waiting for a bus in front of the Golden Treat Hotel on Bhanwarkuan Main Road.

After the incident, the driver left the bus and fled. Bhanwarkuan police have registered a case under Section 304 against the driver.
