London: A Sikh taxi driver who was found injured in England has succumbed during treatment. Actually, the taxi driver was found seriously injured while on duty in Wolverhampton, England, after which he was admitted to the hospital. After reaching the hospital, doctors confirmed the death of the 59-year-old driver. The Sikh driver was working as a driver in a private taxi company at Nine Elms Lane in the city. At the time when he was found injured, he was on duty, that is, he was attacked while on duty. Police have expressed apprehension that the death of the Sikh man was due to an attack with a motive to kill.

A 35-year-old man has been charged with murder in this case. The name of the deceased Sikh driver is being told as Anakh Singh. West Midlands Police confirmed that Tomasz Margol has been charged with murder and appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court earlier this month. The post-mortem of the dead body was also done, but no specific clue was found in the report.

According to media reports, West Midlands Police Homicide Team Investigating Officer Michelle Thurgood has said, 'We have provided Mr. Singh's family with the latest information on the matter. The authorities wish to continue supporting them (the family of the deceased) in this hour of grief.' After this tragic murder, an online movement was started with the target of raising 2000 pounds to help Singh's family. The 'Just Giving' fundraiser has so far passed its target raising over £11,000.
