"Dividing the state can't be a solution for development", BS Yeddyurappa on Karnataka Bandh

Bengaluru(Karnataka), July 28: Uttara Karnataka Horata committee’s proclamation about the Bandh in 13 districts of North Karnataka on 2nd August have regularly faced opposition from the former Chief Minister of the state, BS Yeddyurappa. On Saturday, in a recent verdict about the Bandh on the demand of separate state named as North Karnataka, the BJP leader requested people to not the raise such demands.

Yeddyurappa emphasized that dividing the state can’t be a solution for development. “I request the people in North Karnataka not to raise their voice in favor of a separate state. We have to work together. Dividing the state can't be a solution for development,” ANI quoted the politician.

He also slammed the current government running through the alliance of JD(S)-Congress while claiming that the government trying to destroy the state whereas they thought of the development and have done many reforms for the same.

“Our aim was to develop the state. We built Vikasa Soudha and initiated several development works but, for the sake of power, you (Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy) and your family are trying to destroy the state,”

Worthy to mention here that the BJP north Karnataka's leaders are protesting against the work of JD(S)-Congress coalition government as the government neglects their concern and the same reason they have stated for the necessity of a new state.
