Honda Cars India, the most popular vehicle manufacturer among customers, recently teased its BS6 Jazz and the hatchback was recently spotted testing, but it was completely covered. The new Jazz is now coming in line with the BS6 emission standard and the company is also making changes to some of its styling. The updated Jazz will get the same 1.2 liter petrol and 1.5 liter diesel engine. The petrol engine will generate 90 PS of power and 110 Nm of torque. At the same time, the diesel motor will generate power of 100 PS and torque of 200 Nm. Talking about transmission duties, it will come with a 5-speed manual gearbox and CVT automatic transmission.
Talking about the interior of the car, then there will not be much major changes in Jazz's cabin. Jazz has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. In addition, it has automatic climate control, push-button start / stop, a multi-function steering wheel, etc. Along with this, Honda will offer integrated DRLs and position lamps along with LED projector headlamps and LED rear combination lamps in the new Jazz.
For your information, let us tell you that after the launch of BS6 Honda Jazz in the Indian market, it will give a tough competition to Maruti Baleno, Toyota Glanza, Hyundai i20, Volkswagen Polo and other premium hatchbacks. Its prices will be slightly higher than the old model. On the other hand, the company is also preparing to launch the facelift version of WR-V. The car manufacturer has started pre-booking of its new WRV for Rs 21,000.
