BSE Sensex improves by 58 points in early trade

Tuesday; July 19, 2016: BSE Sensex improved by 58 points in early trade today. The 30-share index rose 58.07 points or 0.20 % to 27,804.73 with the sectoral indices led by metal, realty, oil& gas, auto and healthcare, rising by up to 0.68 %.

NSE Nifty also moved up by 17.25 points or 0.20 % to 8,525.95.

According to the brokers said today, “a stronger possibility of passage of the deadlocked GST Bill in Rajya Sabha and a mixed trend in other Asian markets following another record high closing in the US, influenced sentiment here.”

Japan's Nikkei went up by 0.47 % although Hong Kong's Hang Seng was down 0.63 % in early trade. The US Dow Jones Industrial Average ended 0.09 % higher in yesterday's trade.
