Kanker: A BSF jawan committed suicide by shooting himself in Kanker, Chhattisgarh on Thursday morning. The jawan was a resident of West Bengal. The reason why the jawan committed suicide is not yet clear. The jawan had shot himself in the barracks at 6 am. SP Shalabh Kumar Sinha informed about the matter. The case is of Kanker's Kamtada Camp.
It is being said that Jawan Ujjwal Nandi belonged to the 30th Battalion of BSF. Police officers said that according to the news Nandi was in his barracks around 7 am when he shot himself. When the other soldiers present in the camp got the news of this matter, they informed the officers and the soldier was taken to the hospital. Where doctors declared him brought dead.
The news regarding the reasons for the same suicide has not been received yet. Police have registered a case and the matter is being investigated.
