Kolkata: Smugglers clashed with BSF while crossing the border with cattle on the Indo-Bangladesh border in the early hours of Friday. Meanwhile, Border Security Force personnel killed two Bangladeshis, including an Indian, in the encounter. This incident took place in the Setai Satbhandari village of Cooch Behar. According to reports, infiltrators from Bangladesh entered Indian territory at 3 am on November 12. On the other hand, after being killed and realizing the danger, the BSF unit opened fire on the miscreants.

The soldiers also launched a search operation after the firing. During this, they found the bodies of two unidentified infiltrators on the border. BSF said that one soldier was also injured in the encounter, who was attacked with sticks. He has currently been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
