Lucknow: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Lok Sabha MP from Ghosi seat in Mau district of Uttar Pradesh, Atul Rai, has got a major relief from the court. BSP MP Atul Rai has been acquitted by the court in a rape case. The MP-MLA court in Varanasi pronounced the verdict on Saturday in the ongoing rape case against Atul Rai and acquitted Atul Rai.

The MP-MLA court in Varanasi has acquitted accused BSP MP Atul Rai in a three-year-old rape case. As soon as the news of the court's decision came out, supporters of MP Atul Rai started celebrating, while there was a wave of happiness in the Mayawati-led BSP.
