In India, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) will meet the President and demand a judicial inquiry against the police action against the students agitating against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) for a long time. According to BSP chief Mayawati, BSP's parliamentary party will meet President Ram Nath Kovind on Wednesday morning to protest against the new government's new citizenship amendment act and urge to withdraw it.

According to media reports, BSP chief Mayawati has also shown her attitude in view of the protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act. She has issued a statement saying that in view of the situation of the country, she has demanded the withdrawal of the law. She said that if not done, the situation will get worse in the coming days. She further said that such situations are created when the government ignores a particular community by keeping the Constitution on its own. Muslim society has been completely ignored in the new law, from which the BSP does not agree at all. That is why the BSP voted against the bill in Parliament.

Apart from this, Mayawati said that atrocities with Hindus in Pakistan are very wrong, but BJP wants to take its revenge from Muslims in India. This is not at all justified. She said that the central government should take revenge on the Muslims of Pakistan and not of India. It is not appropriate to massively harass those who oppose this law, especially the concerned community through the police. Entering the Jamia University Campus in Aligarh and Delhi, it is very serious to oppress students. The Supreme Court has also taken cognizance of this. Hopefully, the Supreme Court will not let the dignity of the Indian Constitution fall at any cost.
