Lucknow: The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has changed the list released on January 22 for the second phase of uttar Pradesh assembly elections. The names of six candidates have been announced in the revised list released on Thursday. According to the list, Moolchand Chauhan will be the party's candidate from Dhampur assembly seat in Bijnor.

Bsp has given ticket to Mohammad Rizwan from Kundarki seat in Moradabad. In the list, yusuf khan from Nawabganj, Shalini Singh from Faridpur (Su), Brahmanand Sharma from Bareilly have been fielded in three seats of Bareilly. Similarly, Chandraketu Maurya has been fielded by bsp from Dadraul assembly seat in Shahjahanpur. Party National General Secretary Mewalal Gautam has released the list of candidates.

Earlier on Wednesday, BSP supremo and former CM Mayawati, while congratulating the people of the state on the occasion of Republic Day, had said that the poor toiling people of the country are always committed to make the Constitution meaningful, but the governments need to be serious about reducing the widening gap between the poor and the rich by removing the rising poverty, unemployment, inflation, etc.
