Lucknow: Before the Rajya Sabha election to be held in the country's largest state UP in the initial days of November, the BSP has suffered a major setback. On Wednesday, 5 of the 10 proposers of BSP candidate Ramji Gautam have withdrawn their proposal. There is a danger on the candidate of Ramji Gautam. The five proposers met SP chief Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday morning, after which now the rebellion in the Bahujan Samaj Party has started appearing. Five MLAs of the BSP suddenly arrived in the morning assembly to withdraw their proposal on Wednesday morning, which stirred up the politics in Uttar Pradesh.

The BSP's Aslam Chaudhary, Aslam Rainey, Mujtaba Siddiqui, Hakam Lal Bind, Govind Jatav withdrew their proposal. Aslam Chaudhary's wife had taken membership of SP yesterday. Elections are to be held in ten Rajya Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh, for which total 10 candidates are in the fray. 8 candidates from the BJP, one from the SP, one from the BSP and one Independent are in the fray. Uttar Pradesh will have a vote for the Rajya Sabha election on November 9, the results may come by November 11. While these seats are to be vacant by 25 November.

It is worth noting that there are currently 395 (total member number-403) MLA in UP assembly while 8 seats are vacant. The BJP currently has 306 MLAs. Samajwadi Party has 48 MLAs, BSP 18, Congress 7, Apna Dal 9 and Om Prakash Rajbhar's party has four MLAs. While there are 4 Independents and one MLA from Nishad Party.
