Jimin from BTS previously had his solo album, FACE, published. In streaming charts, the album is doing incredibly well, with Jimin taking the top spot on numerous lists. Suga will be the next team member to reveal his solo album. After the release of his two previous mixtapes, Agust D (2016) and D-2, the rapper-producer of BTS has named his solo album D-Day, which is claimed to be the conclusion of his trilogy (2020).

One of BTS's most productive members, Suga, is getting ready to drop his first-ever debut album, which is sure to be a great success.

The eagerly awaited album, named D-DAY, is set for release on April 21, according to a statement from his team issued on Sunday (April 2). Suga, though, intends to release the album's first track on April 7 first. Whilst it is said in the release that he contributed to the writing and production of the tracks, there is currently no word on how many songs will be on the album.

The preceding mixtapes by Suga were released under the alias Agust D. Suga will contribute to the overall songwriting and production of the record. Given that Suga has always had a crucial role in the songwriting process, it comes as no surprise. Suga's candid depiction of his trip and life may be found in the Agust D trilogy. The BTS member will first showcase a pre-release tune from the album on April 7 before the album is officially released. On April 21, 2023, D-Day will be dropped across platforms. Also, the member will get to know fans through various events and video fan signing sessions.

As a member of BTS, Suga has appeared on the Billboard 200 numerous times. Seven of the septet's rankings on the list, which total 15 thus far, have reached the top 10. Of those seven, all but one rose to the throne.
