Due to a prior commitment, V was unable to attend the ceremony; however, it was revealed that he had sent his father to accept the plaque of distinction in his place.
Soon after, V joined the select company of musicians who have received awards for their tax-paying behaviour while still in their 20s, much to the delight of his fans. YoonA (2015), IU (2020), and Taemin (2021) of Girls' Generation have all previously made the list and have received praise for their admirable behaviours. He stands out because he is the only 3rd generation hero among the 2nd generation singers who are all regarded as role models for good citizenship.
