BTS’s J-Hope is all set to drop his first solo album ‘Jack In The Bow’ on July 15. However, the first single will be unveiled on July 1, while the track list will be released soon after. 

 BTS’s management agency BigHit Music made the announcement via the fan community forum, Weverse, this Saturday night. 

The news came after the band announced that they will be focusing more on their solo projects in the coming months. 

"We would like to announce the release of 'Jack In The Box,' j-hope's solo album. BTS has turned the page on their new chapter, throughout which the members will harmoniously carry out their group and individual activities. j-hope will be the first member of BTS to start this new journey and release his solo album," the agency said in a statement.

The official announcement stated that “Jack In The Box’ lends voice to J-Hope’s aspirations to break the mold and grow further. The album represents his own musical personality and vision as an artist.”  

Jack in the Box marks J-Hope as the first member of the band to take off on the journey of ‘BTS Chapter-2’ 

The rapper’s first mix tape Hope World which was released in March 2018, the mixtape relayed his honest emotions and personal narratives, indicating the vision he has as an artist. 

“Chicken Noodle Soup”, another one of his songs was also loved by his fans all over the world, making it a hit soon after its release, the music video also showcases his energetic personality and exceptional dance moves. 

 The news of the release left the fans excited not only for the album but also for what other members of the band have to show the fans.
