Budget 2022: On Budget Day 2021, the 30-share Sensex  had soared over 2,000 points to close the year 5% higher, marking the greatest rise in the last 20 years.

The index rose to its highest level since 1997 on Budget Day, as India's first digital Budget checked all the appropriate boxes for the equity market.

Today, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will announce the Union Budget 2022. The tone of the stock market on February 1 and subsequently will be established by the FM's budget pronouncements. Market analysts predict that the stock market will stay turbulent during this busy week.

The Indian stock market closed in the positive on Monday, ahead of the Union Budget 2022. On the daily charts, the BSE Sensex rose 813.94 points to 58,014.17, while the Nifty50 rose 237.80 points to 17,339.80, forming a bullish candle.
