Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stated on Tuesday that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's 2019 Union Budget will lay the groundwork for a modern, self-reliant, and powerful India.

Fadnavis also told reporters in Panaji that the budget would put India on the world digital map because of its strong initiatives in the digital currency sector and enhanced technology for governance and public benefit. "The budget aims to make India a modern, self-reliant, and strong country," said Fadnavis, who is in charge of the Goa Assembly elections on February 14.

"It is a budget that is inclusive and will guide the country toward progress. The most crucial point is that, even after the epidemic, the budget projects growth of 9.2%, indicating that India has the potential to become the world's fastest expanding economy. This is evidence of India's independence and strength." The digital ecosystem has gotten a boost from the budget. India will issue its first digital currency in a formal manner.

"Business conducted with cryptocurrencies will henceforth be done with a digital rupee, putting an end to shady practises. Many people will benefit from the concept of a digital university "According to Fadnavis.
