Bhopal: The budget session of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly is going to start from today. Actually, this is going to be the first time after the formation of the Shivraj government in the state when the assembly session is going to be held in full. It is scheduled to run until 26 March. According to reports, the session will begin with Governor Anandi Patel's address. There will be a total of 23 sittings of the house in the 33-day session of the Legislative Assembly.

At the same time, the budget for the coming financial year 2021-2022 will also be presented. With this, information has been received about the editing of government-non-government work. Today the election of the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly will also take place. Girish Gautam is going to be made the Speaker of the Assembly. The budget for the financial year 2021-22 is to be presented on 2 March.

This time due to the coronavirus epidemic, the state government is focusing on spending cuts. For this reason, it is believed that this time the state government will try to save about Rs 3000 crore by cutting expenses. According to the information received recently, the government will use the amount of deduction in expenses to give DA to the employees. There are also reports that this time the government is also considering increasing the budget of agriculture by 10000 crores. Apart from this, the government will give the benefit of Samman Rashi scheme to the farmers as before. This means that farmers of Madhya Pradesh will continue to get 10,000 rupees in a year.
