Buffalo of Murra breed of Hisar in Haryana have made world record in milk production. Saraswati has created a world record by giving more than 32 kg of milk daily at the International Dairy and Agro Expo held in Jagraon, Ludhiana. The result of this expo of the Progressive Dairy Farmers Association, which lasted for three days, was announced on Monday. Daljit Singh Sardarpura, president of the association, says, 'Saraswati (buffalo) broke the world record of Murra buffalo made in Faisalabad, Pakistan in November 2018, giving an average of 32.066 kg of milk per day. Saraswati is a gift and the owner of the buffalo can make a good income by selling its embryo.

According to information received from sources, it has been learned that the International Dairy and Agri Expo of the association is famous worldwide as the main competition of buffaloes, cows and calves. 20 competitions were organized during the expo.

Sardarpura says, 'We are happy that a world record has been made in our expo.' The buffalo owner Sukhbir Dhanda is a resident of Litani located in Hisar district of Haryana. He is very happy after the result is declared. Dhanda said, 'It is a matter of pride for not only me but for the whole country that Saraswati has made a world record of maximum milk in one day. The credit goes to my mother Kailo Devi, who takes good care of it. We constantly monitor him and ensure that he gets the best fodder.

For information, let us tell you that Saraswati has given Dhanda a chance of pride on many occasions before this. He explains, 'Saraswati won the first prize here last year by giving 29.31 kg of milk. Apart from this, she was also the first to produce 28.7 kg of milk in a program of Central Institute of Buffalo Research, Hisar. Not only this, in an event of Haryana Livestock Development Board, she won the competition with 28.8 kg milk production. "People approached me to buy Saraswati," says Dhanda. Some offered me up to Rs 51 lakh but I told them that it is not for sale. I can not take it away from myself. We have recently sold one of his calves to a person from Tamil Nadu for 4.5 lakh rupees. We have two more buffaloes Ganga, Jamuna. Meanwhile, after the result was announced, a crowd of animal lovers flocked to see the winner Saraswati.
