This matter has come to light from Godadara area of ​​Surat. Where the people living in Neelkanth Society started the construction work of Lord Shiva's temple in the vacant common plot. But the builders who built the society were opposing the construction of this temple. Due to this, the builder and his people reached there in the dark on Thursday night and broke the walls of the temple under construction. Not only this, while leaving, he also took away Shivling from the temple. When the people of the society came to know about this on Friday morning, they started protesting. On getting information about the matter, the police reached the spot. Tried to convince the people, but they were not ready to listen.

Meanwhile, activists of many Hindu organizations also reached the Neelkanth Society and protested. Seeing the matter gaining momentum, the Godadara police station registered a case of theft against the builder and his associates for stealing the Shivling by breaking the temple. Now the police is taking legal action in this matter. According to the information, the builder had left the common plot in the society for public use. But later his intentions deteriorated.
