Chennai- Tamil Nadu: Two people have now died as a result of the building collapse on Mint Street in Chennai on Friday, according to police, who also confirmed the death of another person on Saturday.

The incident also harmed three more people. Fire services personnel reportedly helped to clear the debris and rescue the injured, according to Chennai police.
