Bulandshahr violence: Army hands over accused army man of killing Inspector Subodh to UP STF

New Delhi: The absconding Jitendra Malik alias Jeetu Fauji who is accused of killing Inspector Subodh Singh in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr, following doubt of cow slaughter, has now been detained by Army and has been handed over to UP STF.  The STF is at present questioning Jitendra and is yet to be legitimately arrested.

The Army has assured all the support in the investigation. Jitendra is a part of 22 National Riffles and has been posted in Jammu and Kashmir’s Sopore and he was in his village on a 15-day leave. His vacation was scheduled to end on Tuesday.

Meerut STF team arrived Jammu and Kashmir’s Sopore and took Jitu Fauji aka Jitendra in its custody on Saturday evening but as per Jeetu’s brother and father that the police have been ‘troubling’ them since the day violence erupted.

Meanwhile, police have they can be sure about Jeetu’s involvement in the murder only after they are finished with the inquiry.

A video from the day of violence has floated where accused Jeetu Fauji can be seen Chingravthi police station wherein Jitendra can be seen raising slogans in the video. Previously, his wife Priyanka had claimed that he wasn’t in Bulandshahr the day aggression erupted and had gone for shopping.
