LUCKNOW: Six days after the Bulandshahr violence in which two persons killed, Senior Superintendent of Police Krishna Bahadur Singh has been transferred to Director General of Police (DGP) Headquarters in Lucknow on Saturday, as per the reports.

Now SP Prabhakar Chaudhary has been appointed as the new Bulandshahr SSP.Two other police officials have also been transferred in link to the mob violence. Circle Officer (CO) Satya Prakash Sharma and Suresh Kumar, the in-charge of Chingravathi police chowki, have been transferred .

Reports also suggested that IPS LR Kumar has been appointed as the new chief of Sitapur. The action followed after ADG (Intelligence) forward its report on the Bulandshahr incident to the DGP headquarters on Friday.

A high-level talk was held to talk about the incident. The meeting was presided over by the Director General of Police (DGP) O.P. Singh.

Singh had submitted the report to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on his arrival from the national capital New Delhi.

Worth mention here a mob of around 400 people, including right-wing activists, conflicted with the police on December 3 in Siana area of Bulandshahr district, after allegedly heing cow carcasses thrown in a nearby jungle.
