Vijayawada: The newly elected CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of Andhra Pradesh has ordered the demolition of the residence 'Praja Vedika' of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President and former CM Chandrababu Naidu during a meeting in Vijayawada on Monday. Jagan Mohan Reddy has issued instructions to start the work of demolishing the building from Wednesday (26 June).

It is worth mentioning that the 'Praja Vedika' was constructed as an extension of CM housing. TDP chief and former CM Chandrababu Naidu lives in this building. During the meeting, CM Jagan Mohan Reddy said, "It is sad that we are taking up the building by breaking the norms and norms in our first meeting. The concerned 'People's Terrace' building may be allotted.

He wrote in the letter that the building should be declared as the assembly of the House of the Leader of the Opposition.  It may be mentioned that the construction of the building on the banks of the River Krishna was allegedly blown up by rules and regulations. The building was used by Chandrababu Naidu for official purposes as well as party meetings.
