The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) of 1,7000 candidates who have cleared the written exam of Bihar Police Constable Recruitment of Central Selection Board Bihar (CSBC) will start from 9th December and will continue till 10th March. Let us tell you that 1,07,079 candidates have been shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The number of men in this is 67,518; the number of women is 39,550; the number of transgenders is 11. These also include 485 Home Guard candidates and 433 dependents of freedom fighters. While about 11.95 lakh candidates had appeared for the examination for this recruitment. Five times more candidates have been selected than the vacant posts. The total number of posts is 21,391. From here, candidates will be able to download the admit card from 12:00 noon on November 21.
According to the Central Selection Board, the examination will be conducted under the supervision of senior police officers, for which deputation will be done by the Police Headquarters. The examinations of male candidates and female candidates will be conducted on different days. First the examination of male candidates will be completed, after that the examination of female candidates will be started. Every day 1600 male candidates or 1400 female candidates will be called.
Such a declaration will also have to be given: According to the Central Selection Board, the candidates have to declare that they are physically and mentally fit, are not pregnant (wherever applicable) and are not consuming any type of stimulant narcotic/banned drugs. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will consist of running, shot put, high jump tests and the height and chest measurement of men and the height and weight of women will be measured. Height should be this much: For this recruitment, the height of unreserved and BC male candidates should be 165 cm. Whereas the height of SC/ST and EBC male candidates should be 160 cm.
How many minutes will the race take?: The race in Bihar Police Physical Efficiency/Proficiency Test is of 50 marks. Male candidates will have to complete the 1.6 km race in 6 minutes. Candidates who complete the race in less than 5 minutes will be given 50 marks. Candidates who complete the race in more than 5 minutes 40 seconds and up to 6 minutes will get 20 marks and candidates who take more than this time will be disqualified.
50 marks will be given for the race: Women candidates will have to complete a one kilometer race in five minutes. The race is said to be of 50 marks. Women candidates will get 50 marks for completing the race in less than four minutes and candidates who take more than 5 minutes will get 20 marks and candidates who take more than this time will be disqualified.
Shot put event will be like this: In the shot put event, male candidates will have to throw the shot up to a minimum distance of 16 feet. Whereas female candidates will have to throw the shot up to a distance of 12 feet.
This will be the chest measurement: The minimum chest measurement should be 81 cm without inflation and 86 cm when inflated. Reserved categories will get relaxation in this.
Keep these things in mind- Candidates who fail to secure minimum 30% marks in the written examination will be automatically disqualified from the physical test.
Approximately five times the number of vacancies are going to be selected for the physical test.
The physical test is expected to be conducted within 1.5 months of the declaration of the result.
