Chamba: A bus collided with a house in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh on Sunday injuring 34 people. The accident occurred when the driver lost control of the bus and the bus went and fell on a house. 34 persons travelling in the bus sustained injuries due to the accident and have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
The accident with the same private bus took place near Kariyan on the route from Chamba to Bharmour. The bus was on its way from Lilh to Chamba via Dharwala. According to reports, the driver lost control of the bus before approaching Sarai nullah. This caused the bus to get off the road and hit a house.
On the other hand, rising inflation seems to have emptied not only the common people but also the pockets of the MLAs. It is estimated that the Electricity Board has issued notices to ten MLAs of the state for not paying the electricity bill. If the bill is not paid within 15 days, their electricity connections will be temporarily disconnected.
