Ludhiana: A bus carrying devotees going back to Delhi after visiting Mata Vaishno Devi rammed into the divider in Punjab's Ludhiana. Due to this, the bus crushed the cyclist, in which he died. At the same time, some passengers have suffered minor injuries. The driver of the bus absconded after the incident. The passenger on the bus told that the driver of the bus fell asleep near Threje Dhaba in Doraha. Suddenly he lost control of the bus. The bus ran over the divider crushing the cyclist. There was a hue and cry among the passengers sitting in the bus. The people around immediately took them out of the bus and took the injured passengers to the hospital.

The same passenger Devraj told that at 4.15 am the bus driver was washing his face with water. He had told the driver not to drive the bus if he was feeling sleepy, but he did not agree. Passenger Suman told that she was going from Katra to Delhi. The driver of the bus did not control the bus, due to which the accident happened.

Same deceased's brother Lakhveer Singh told that his uncle's son Indrajit Singh was going back home from work in the morning. He was coming to the M.Sun factory wearing a night suit. An uncontrolled bus has run over him. The tourist bus driver fled from the spot. The bus driver has been identified as Nirmal Singh.
