Bhopal: A passenger bus going from Sagar to Allahabad collided with the wall of the overbridge on Mahoba road late at night in Chattarpur Madhya Pradesh. 2 persons were killed in the incident. 88 passengers were injured. The condition of some of the injured passengers is reported to be very serious. All the injured passengers have been admitted to the District hospital immediately. This was a 32 seater bus in which 100 people were seated. Because of this, the bus was overloaded and the bus was not balanced and after that, the bus collided with the wall. The passengers sitting in the bus had even refused to let the bus driver seat this many people, but the driver still contained100 people in the 32-seater bus.

However, this is not the first case, but one such case has already surfaced. The balance of the bus going from Sidhi to Satna had deteriorated. During that time the bus fell from the pool into the canal. Out of 61 people on the bus, 54 people lost their lives in the accident. The incident occurred due to taking passengers more than the capacity of the bus and now the same incident has happened in Chattarpur. In the year 2019, the bus from Indore to Chattarpur fell uncontrollably into the River Rechan in Raisen.

Six people were killed in the incident while 19 others were injured. After that incident, Transport Minister Govind Singh had framed a new rule and in that rule it was said that the 32 seater bus would not be given a permit of more than 75 kilometres.
