New Delhi: Bus service from the national capital Delhi to Nepal's capital Kathmandu has once again started. Now a bus can be taken from Dr Ambedkar Stadium Terminal at Delhi Gate to Kathmandu. The service was suspended for nearly 21 months due to the corona epidemic. Now this service will be operated only on the old pattern. However, the new guidelines of the Union Health Ministry related to coronavirus will also be followed.

Delhi-Kathmandu bus service has been restored from 10 am today, December 15. Talking to the media, a passenger said, "The resumption of the bus service will make it possible for people from both countries (India and Nepal) to travel. People go to these countries for jobs, and now with the resumption of this direct bus service, it will be easier for them to travel from India to Nepal and Nepal to India.'

Earlier, the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) had issued a notice saying that the Delhi-Kathmandu bus will leave the Ambedkar bus terminal at 10 am on December 15. DTC has tied up with Skyline India (Motors) Pvt Ltd for the operation of the bus. State that the bus service connecting cities in the capital of India and Nepal was launched in November 2014. Its operations were suspended on March 23, 2020, amid the first wave of the corona.
