Kolkatta: BJP president Amit Shah today will address a public meeting in Kolkata, Ahead of his rally last night in West Midnapore Unidentified miscreants attacked a bus in Nayabasat area. The bus was waiting to take BJP workers to Kolkata for party President Amit Shah's rally. There are no reports for no one injury. FIR lodged in Chandrakona Town police outpost.

Following  Shah's rally in Kolkata today, TMC ( The Trinamool Congress ) held the posters reading 'Anti-Bengal BJP Go Back' seen on the streets Here are visuals taken by ANI from around Mayo road which is the venue for Amit Shah's today rally.

This rally has been organized by BJP Yuva Morcha. Earlier a day Mamta benrjee led ruling party Trinamool Congress (TMC)'s workers put up posters saying 'BJP leave Bengal' on Friday, As Times Now reported.These posters against Amit Shah's rally were put up in Kolkata, with the slogan 'Leave Bengal'.

Worth mention here Shah had announced his decision to visit West Bengal on 11 August in the midst of TMC leader Mamata Banerjee's scornful condemnation of the Centre's National Register of Citizens (NRC) in Assam.

According to the reports, almost hundreds of hoardings of party leader Mamata Banerjee and party flags were put up at around Mayo Road. TMC leaders remained silent on the issue.

“Their national leaders, even the prime minister may visit Bengal thousands of time, but the people of Bengal are with Mamata Banerjee. Our flags and the hoardings of our party chief Mamata Banerjee will remind them that Bengal belongs to Trinamool Congress, not to any communal force,” said a senior Trinamool Congress leader on the condition of obscurity.
