Bollywood actor Konkana Sen Sharma has been away from films for quite some time now. More recently, information has emerged that he has signed a film. She has worked as an actor so far but is now going to work as a director. After 'A Death in the Gunj', Konkana Sen Sharma is ready to take over as director once again.
As of now, this time, Konkana will create a web series on cabaret dancer Arti Das, known as Miss Shefali. That's where he will work as a director. Talking about this web series, Konkana said, "After partition and the period of pre-liberalisation, I have been fecinitised. Since I'm from Kolkata, I know his story.'
In addition, she considered Arti Das Helen as her mentor and has also worked with Satyajit Ray. Asked if all these things would be shown in the web series, Konkana replied, "We are still working on the story and discussing what the starcast will be. I didn't meet Arti Das but they know we're making web series on their lives. Makers have taken all the rights to make the show. It will start shooting in early 2020.
