Cabinet puts a seal on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream project 'Defense Manufacturing Policy'

The Cabinet meeting approved, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream project 'Defense Manufacturing Policy'. A total of seven proposals were approved in the Cabinet meeting today. Uttar Pradesh Defense and Aerospace Units and Employment Promotion Policy 2018. During the investor summit, the Prime Minister had announced the Defense Corridor in the UP for which the proposal was prepared and stamped. This Defense Manufacturing Policy has been brought to the Defense Unit for attracting the state chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday,


Government spokesman Shrikant Sharma said that under this project, investment of fifty thousand crores and five and a half million jobs is proposed in five years. Aligarh, Agra, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Kanpur and Lucknow districts have been included in the corridor. Under this, different types of units will be attached. 

These proposals are approved in addition to

1. The adjustment of the amount of government debt of Uttar Pradesh State Mineral Development Corporation Limited and assets transferred to government departments are stamped upon 

2. In relation to compliance with the order of Supreme Court, seal stamped on the freehold of sewage land situated in the civil station Allahabad. 

3. A seal on proposals for approving the Council of Ministers for the various projects in the Civil Aviation Department for the financial year 2017-18 under the lump sum budget provision. Approval of grant of 2 billion 83 crores 08 lakh 27 thousand seven hundred and sixty rupees was approved for this.

4. Approval of proposal for the development of the selected Aligarh, Azamgarh, Shravasti and Moradabad Airports under the Regional Connectivity Scheme in the U.P. 

5. Chief Minister Housing Scheme, Seal on Modification of Rural Management
