The Election commission’s nod for the elections of the five states that are going to take place in the next year, hence this week, the cabinet for the next financial session will think of February 1^st as the date for the presentation of the budget.

The elections are going to be held in the state of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa, and Manipur. And so that the polls do not get messed the union cabinet will think of shifting the budget date one month ahead.

When the cabinet asked for the permission from the Election Commission of India, it said that it is the government’s choice to present the budget for the next fiscal anytime they want,

The Cabinet is lead or headed by the Prime Minister of India and it will sit together on 19^th or 20^th of October to decide about the presentation of budget and when the finance minister Arun Jaitley will b able to present it.
