Political Data Analysis Company 'Cambridge Analytica' has denied the theft of data of 5.62 lakh Indians. Although Facebook recently admitted that this scam is likely to affect 5.62 lakh people in India. According to sources, the Government of India disagreed with the replies of Facebook and Cambridge Analytica will conduct an additional investigation in the data leak case. The government had sought an answer from the company's involvement in the data leak case from Cambridge Analytica till 7 April.
Sources said, "Cambridge Analytica has denied Facebook using any data related to Indians. Contradiction in the answers was filed by the company and Facebook. The government will ask for clarification from both of them.
Cambridge Analycia is alleged to have analyzed information related to Facebook's crores of users and used it to influence their political influence in many countries. Faced with this scandal, Facebook has become a major star, which is the world's premier social media website. There are 20 million Facebook users in India.
In the ads seeking to address the damage done by the Cambridge Analytica scandal, Zuckerberg explained that there was a quiz developed by a university researcher "that leaked Facebook data of millions of people in 2014. This was a breach of trust, and I'm sorry we didn't do more at the time. We're now taking steps to make sure this doesn't happen again," he said.
