Kanpur: The District Administration, I n order to limit the use of polythene , will launch a campaign in the district from Friday, April 22, 2016. The campaign will be participated by Food and Drugs department, Pollution Control Department and Municipal Corporation.

Rather the ban by the government and the court, the use and manufacturing of the polythene has not stopped in the district yet.

As per the district administration, “some strict action will be taken against the manufacturers as well as users of poly bags under the campaign.”

A group led by City Magistrate will charged arrests at shops and will charge fine on the violators.
