Former news reporter Campbell Brown have decided to join Facebook as a partner. This news came into spotlight when Brown posted this news on Facebook page on Friday. Now Facebook is kept under a scrutiny due to previous cases of 'fake news rumor'.

Brown will be leading Facebook's news partnership unit and work with external media which publish contents on Facebook. As still, the news is not confirmed US public is criticizing government to take actions against these kinds of misinformation. Certainly in recent months Facebook is trying to diminish these kinds of fake rumors.

Campbell will work to maintain this kinds of misinformation with the team, She said, " I will working directly with our partners to help them understand how Facebook can expand the reach of their journalism and contribute to value their business."
