Ottawa: From March 6 to 11, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will visit the United Kingdom, Latvia, Germany, and Poland to coordinate additional responses to Russia's flagrant breach of international law and the UN Charter.

In the face of Russia's "unlawful invasion of Ukraine," he will also reinforce Canada's solidarity with its European friends and allies.

"Canada remains united in support of Ukraine alongside our partners and allies," the government stated in a statement. The Prime Minister will meet with key allies on his visit to build on our coordinated response to Russia's "unprovoked and unjustified military assault" against Ukraine.

He'll also emphasise Canada's support for addressing the serious humanitarian issues that are arising in Ukraine and as people depart the country. The Prime Minister will work with foreign partners and allies to advance shared critical issues such as trade, economic growth, climate action, and human rights.

On March 6, 2022, the Prime Minister will go to London, United Kingdom, to meet with Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte to coordinate additional reactions to Russia's flagrant breach of international law and the United Nations Charter. "The Prime Minister will have an audience with Her Majesty The Queen during his visit to the United Kingdom," it added.
