New Delhi: More than 1 lakh students of 10th and 12th standards have requested the government to cancel or conduct board exams online amid ever-increasing cases of corona infection in the country. Tell us that this year the 10th 12th examinations are scheduled to be held in the month of May-June. CBSE and CISE say that strict security arrangements are being ensured for students at examination centers.

''#cancelboardexams2021" has been trending on Twitter for the past two days. On the other hand, both the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Indian School Certificate Examination Council (CISCE) have said that adequate security arrangements are being made for the students and all covid-19 guidelines will be followed during the exam.

A senior CBSE official told the media that "adequate arrangements are being made to keep the students safe and all corona guidelines will be followed. The number of examination centers has been increased by 40-50 percent to ensure social distance. The staff of the examination centers is being sensitized to ensure that all corona guidelines are followed."
