Amritsar: Former CM Captain Amarinder Singh is camping in the national capital amid the ongoing political turmoil in Punjab. Amarinder Singh met National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval on Thursday. Captain had also met Union Home Minister Amit Shah earlier on Wednesday. After his meeting with Captain Amarinder Singh, NSA Ajit Doval has arrived at Union Home Minister Amit Shah's residence in New Delhi.

The meeting between Amarinder Singh and Ajit Doval is also considered important as captain K recently questioned Navjot Singh Sidhu's connection with Pakistan. Captain Amarinder Singh had said that Navjot Singh Sidhu's holding a big post in Punjab is not right for the nation as he has friendship with Imran Khan and Pakistan Army chief Qamar Bajwa. Captain Amarinder Singh had said that he raised the issue of agricultural laws in the meeting and requested for an early resolution of the farmers' issue, as well as a guarantee of minimum support price (MSP).

There has been a lot of speculation in view of the political situation that has changed in Punjab in the last few days. Speculation swells between Navjot Singh Sidhu's resignation as state President and Captain Amarinder Singh's rebellious approach to the Congress.
