Chandigarh: Former Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh met Union Minister and Punjab BJP in-charge Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Tuesday. Punjab Lok Congress Party founder Captain Amarinder also had dinner with Shekhawat due to this. The meeting was held at Mohinder Bagh in Siswan. Amarinder Singh tweeted about the visit and said, "Met Union Jal Shakti Minister and BJP's Punjab election in-charge Gajendra Singh Shekhawat at his residence. "

Talking to reporters at his home in Mohali, Amarinder Singh said, his party is discussing an alliance with the Bjp of Punjab Lok Congress and Shiromani Akali Dal (United), the party of Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa. He said talks have been held on seat sharing. Ahead of the meeting, an important meeting of the Punjab BJP was held at a private hotel in Chandigarh where elections were discussed.

Captain Amarinder Singh said on Monday that his party will contest the state elections along with the party of punjab lok congress, bjp and former Akali Dal leader Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa. He said the three parties will form the government in Punjab next year. He announced this during a press conference in Chandigarh. It may be recalled that Amarinder Singh was removed as cm of Punjab in September after which he quit the Congress and formed his own party called Punjab Lok Congress.
