Amritsar: A day after being suspended from the Congress for anti-party activities and served a show cause notice by the party, Patiala Congress MP Preneet Kaur, wife of former Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh, has come out with her first reaction. Preneet Kaur has said that whatever decision the party wants to take, it is welcome.

As per reports, Congress Lok Sabha MP from Patiala Preneet Kaur, wife of Captain Amarinder Singh, claimed that she has fulfilled her responsibilities by serving the people of Punjab and will continue to serve them in the future as well. Responding to a media query in Patiala, Preneet Kaur said that she would soon inform the party about her reply to the show cause notice. On the show cause notice given by the Congress, I would say whatever decision the party wants to take is welcome. I have always given my best to the party and the people who have elected me time and again. I am indebted to them.

In fact, the Disciplinary Action Committee (DAC) of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) on Friday suspended Patiala Lok Sabha MP Preneet Kaur and served her a notice to reply within three days to explain her anti-party activities. DAC has sought a reply from Preneet Kaur in a show cause notice as to why she should not be expelled from the party.
