Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, who is handling the dispute between Chief Secretary Karan Avtar Singh and cabinet ministers over the excise policy between the lockdown and the Corona crisis, on Monday brought the two sides together face to face. On Monday, the Chief Minister again called selected ministers for lunch at his farmhouse in Siswan.

Apart from the presence of Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal and Chief Secretary Karan Avtar Singh in this lunch program, Technical Education Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, Sports Minister Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodhi as well as Shri Anandpur Sahib MP Manish Tiwari were present. However, only three people involved in the dispute were called by the Chief Minister, because the selected ministers whom he had called for lunch last week.

Apart from this, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, who openly opposed the Chief Secretary and demanded his removal, and MLA Raja Vading, Advisor to the Chief Minister were included. Then the Chief Minister listened carefully to both of them and after talking to Manpreet Singh Badal, who was a direct character of the dispute, had assured to find a solution. On Monday, the Chief Minister again organized a lunch program and called Manpreet Badal and Charanjeet Channi in it.
