Two policemen suspended after corona infected inmate escaped from quarantine centre in UP

Meerut: A prisoner fled from the Corona centre of Swahedi on Tuesday in Bijnor district, UP. This prisoner tested positive for COVID-19. As soon as the case was reported, the police officers were agitated. Dr Dharamveer Singh has suspended one constable and two policemen for dereliction of the case. The police have detained the absconding prisoner after three hours.

Wajid, an Islam Nagar resident in Nurpur, was reported to have been detained in the Arms Act on September 3. He was recorded in the city prison. Wajid was admitted to corona Kendra Swahedi when covid-19 was found infected. On Tuesday morning, Wajid fled from there. The same was revealed on Tuesday at 11 am in the day that Wajid's part was due to the escape.

There are 52 patients admitted in the centre of the same Swahedi. According to Dr Dharamveer Singh, SP, Droga Manlis Singh and two policemen have been arrested for negligence in the case. Wajid is being researched by a police team. Wajid has fled from the corona center between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. The calculations led to the information of his Ferrari. The entire case is being investigated by the police, and two policemen have been suspended.
